This year’s Great British Game Week is just around the corner – a nationwide celebration of wild meat, running from 3rd – 9th November 2025. The week brings together producers, chefs, restaurants, pubs, butchers and food lovers across the UK to champion the great taste, sustainability and provenance of British game.
From venison to pheasant, partridge to grouse, Great British Game Week is all about putting this delicious and nutritious meat in the spotlight – on menus, in shops and at the heart of conversations about sustainable eating.
Get Involved
We’re calling on producers, dealers, pubs, restaurants, chefs, retailers and consumers to join in and showcase the very best of British game. Whether it’s:
- Adding a special dish to your menu
- Hosting a game dinner or tasting event
- Running a social media campaign or sharing your favourite recipe
- Partnering with your local butcher or producer to promote seasonal produce
…every contribution helps raise awareness of game as a healthy, affordable and sustainable choice.
Why Wild Meat?
Wild meat is wild, natural and low in food miles. It supports biodiversity and habitat management in the British countryside and it’s absolutely delicious. Great British Game Week is the perfect chance to introduce new audiences to its flavour and versatility.
