Celebrating the Flavours of the Wild: Kitchen W8’s Game Menu in Support of Eat Wild

This October, the Michelin-starred Kitchen W8 in London is celebrating the very best of Britain’s wild larder with an exceptional Game Menu, running from Monday 13th to Sunday 26th October.

The “Celebration of Game” menu, created by Chef Mark Kempson, showcases the extraordinary diversity and flavour of sustainably sourced British game. Each dish captures the essence of the season — rich, vibrant, and unmistakably wild.

A Taste of the Wild

The six-course tasting menu is a reflection of autumn’s finest offerings, featuring:

  • Game Crackling and Mallard Liver Parfait with Fig and Bacon Jam

  • Crispy Confit Partridge Leg with Plum Ketchup and Fennel Pollen

  • Yorkshire Grouse Broth with Pickled Cep, Glazed Sausage and Damson

  • Ballotine and Tartare of Wood Pigeon with BBQ Beetroot, Soused Pumpkin and Walnut

  • Raviolo of Pheasant with Leafy Celeriac and Wiltshire Truffles

  • Smoked Haunch of Fallow Deer with Grilled Venison Bone Marrow, Green Peppercorns and Pear

  • And to finish, a Warm Apple and Almond Croustade with Fig Leaf Ice Cream and Fig & Port Jam

Every course tells a story of sustainable sourcing, expert preparation, and a deep respect for Britain’s wild landscapes.

Raising Funds for Eat Wild

A £5 donation from every Game Menu sold will go directly to Eat Wild, helping to raise awareness of wild game, promote sustainable sourcing, and encourage more people to experience the benefits of eating wild.

This collaboration with Kitchen W8 supports Eat Wild’s mission to connect people with the countryside — celebrating food that is naturally lean, nutrient-rich, and environmentally responsible.
